New York and Company. Their clothing isn't trendy...it's classic and elegant. For the quality of the clothes, it really isn't that expensive either-(and they have clearances a lot! :) Once I graduated college, and needed to get a more adult wardrobe, that was the first place I booked it to-I always feel put together and confident in their clothing.

I tend to shop at the big department stores like Walmart, because the clothing is inexpensive and more casual than what I can find in the chain stores like Wet Seal and Deb, even if both those stores do have adorable clothes. Sometimes I shop at Old Navy, but I usually don't find anything I really like there.

Neiman Marcus (actually Bergdorf Goodman's as I'm in NYC) or Bloomingdales, or several small local stores that are just local. I like to shop at stores that have good help, but help that leaves you alone when you just want to browse. Also, I am picky about the brands that I wear and I can find what I want in these stores, and also find new designers that are not necessarily in other stores.

JC Penney and Macy's because there's a large selection of brands in the store that allow me to mix and match my wardrobe and not dress exactly like everyone else. They also have excellent sales, so you get good quality clothing at an inexpensive price.

I love Delias & American Eagle. Delias has funky clothes, and it really fits my personality. But even there you can find something casual if you want, or some jewelry and purses. American Eagle is more preppy, and I only occasionally shop there. They're clothes are more laid-back and serious, but I still like there polos.
