Can someone help me sum up the ideas of how the camera angles, movement and distance (as well as sound and lighting) contribute to the representation of Dr.Evil.

How it makes HIM stand out, with the dramatic pauses, a few ideas if you can would be a great help.

from what i recall...there was a scene where dr. evil was in the mdidle of the frame, then he was dragged away by Random Task (who was taking his cat away), and the camera remained static. also, when dr. evil and his pals are laughing hysterically (also in the first movie) the camera deliberately stays on them too long. in a sense, these unconventional shots humanize him a bit, showing his vulnerability beneath the harsh exterior (not really all that harsh since it is a comedy, but you get the idea...)

there are also extreme zooms that add dramatic flair, like when he says "1 million dollars". these zooms are just plain silly...read into them as you will...
