Hard up for cash, but have some time? For my parent's 40th anniversary, I started this a couple of months ahead of time, but looked up every one I could think of that they had known pretty well during their married lives. Friends from high school, their jobs, from our sports and schools. Then a few weeks ahead of time, I sent out an announcement with a request that they at least send my parents a card. And an optional request that they send something either written or a momento with their favorite memory. I even included their favorite celebrities and got responses! Of course, then you have to have a special scrapbook to place all those wonderful memories into. Good luck!

my parents just had their 25th anniversary and my sister and me got them this glass plaque with one of their wedding photos in it with a quote under it and the date of their wedding. we also named a star for them and gave them that framed. it gets hard to pick out presents for parents bc they have so much and you want to get them something they'll love. my parents loved this idea bc we really thought about it. good luck
