I'd offer an unqualified 'yes' if mobile phones were more reliable.

Unless yours is something with a solar-powered charger, satellite access, etc -- eh -- not so sure.

But -- how close would you be to traffic? If you could flag somebody down in a reasonable amount of time, I say go for it.

I think tenting (Camping?) alone and female is risky enough with all the weirdos out in this world and natural disasters that seem to pop out of nowhere, but if you know survival techniques and can handle yourself, that's great! Good for you. Me, I'm a hotel camping type of gal, running water and a soft bed are my idea of camping. I digress. Now, you are 30 weeks along....now is the time for Mommy to be a Mommy, and to consider all the possibilities. You do not have the same physical resources/strength etc., what you risk is ultimately something going wrong with your pregnancy. You decide, is the risk worth the payoff? Is there some other way you can get your love of nature, camping fulfilled without being alone?

I don't see why not. Just don't go and do anything crazy like hiking on hard trails where you could fall or climbing a mountain. If you are just looking for a little peace and tranquility I don't see the big deal. Make sure you stay where the cell phone has a signal and make sure people know exactly where you are at. With a cell phone in hand and only a few minutes away, you should be ok.

The very fact that you're questioning this is your best answer...listen to your instincts...

Sure, it might be fine....but if there's a chance in a million that it would be harmful to you or the baby, why take it?

You're pregnant for such a short amount of time in your life...

And you'll have years and years to do fun things like this with no worry or guilt.

Treat yourself to other special activities during your pregnancy.

Wishing you all the best~Patricia

i wouldn't recommend it, not because you are pregnant but because going camping alone is not safe. there have been a few causes where people have been killed camping alone and with someone else like a boyfriend. i think it is best to go camping as a group. plus isn't more fun that way? it is a scary thought that you may be attached while camping but it happens, and i know it could happen anywhere else, but it will be less likely if you went with a group.

Your toddler would be advantageous an identical element got here approximately to me purely recently.I introduced a 4lb 5 oz..lady offspring on the thirty first of january by making use of way of c-section and he or she is ideal!! i grew to become into constantly measuring 2 weeks at the back of ,my due date grew to become into the seventeenth of febuary and that they had scheduled my c-section for the seventh of feb. yet in week 35 they did an ultrasound and then yet another one in week 36 and he or she grew to become into no longer becoming so that they did non rigidity tests and then a biophysical examination(basically an ultrasound)to verify if she grew to become into in disrtess and an identical day they did that they referred to as me some hours later and asked if i ought to are available in because of the fact they wanted to do the c-section and that i grew to become into freaking out for specific that comparable day I had a girl offspring!!attempt to no longer hardship approximately it and relax as much as achieveable, your toddler would be advantageous.Don;t blame your self or rack your brains tring t verify what went incorrect reason which will in straight forward terms make you rigidity extra, quite some the time a clarification for the toddler no longer becoming is because of the fact the placenta has reached that's existence shrink and could start to die hence it heavily isn't offering for the toddler exact. So that's no longer something you have carried out. good success and congratualtions!!

I don't see a problem with this if camping is something that you're used to and as long as your pregnancy is healthy. I wouldn't recommend this if you are new to camping or hiking. I'd also suggest calling the doc's office too to see if they would have any concerns. Have fun and good luck!

Not a great idea to go alone - hard to use a cell phone if you're passed out or cell phone dies for some reason.

I wouldn't recommend going tenting alone anyways being a female. Anything could happen. Consider how close you are to help and a hospital.
