Are there scorpions or tarantulas or anything gross and poisonous in Spain, Greece or Italy?

I think you may find rabid dogs in greece, as it's quite far east.

I know that spiders and scorpions exist in Greece, i've seen both, but I can't be sure about tarantulas. My guess would be no, but you may want to Google "tarantula" and find out where what parts of the world they're indigenous to.

Sure, there are scorpions and large spiders, and some spiders which have potent venom, and lots of other dangerous things such as cars driven by idiots, that you're much more likely to encounter. Most people don't encounter the non-human dangers, so I wouldn't worry too much about them. Watch your step crossing the street, though!
