as a general rule of thumb: 1. get an oil change every three months or every 3,000 miles (whichever comes first) , and Replace your tires every 50,000 miles. Those two points will help you out greatly. Follow your car's maintenance schedule. If you can't find it, get a copy from a local dealer of your make/model.
