usually, when pregnancy happens, periods stop; a bleeding occurring after the onset of a pregnancy might be abnormal. I think you should check with your ob-gyn... try a test pregnancy or go to a hospital to determine the amount of the human choriogonadotropin (hCG) in your blood - this is a substance that is found in the blood of pregnant women; it's a way to determine if you're pregnant; another way would be to go and see ur gynechologist. he/she will also tell you about the bleeding. if you don't want to hurry to see the doctor (although, for your safety, it is recommended that you see your doc asap), try a pregnancy test. if positive and still bleeding regularly, must see doc. good luck with that!

My doctor called it spotting, and at first didn't believe me when I told her why I was 5 months along and only just found out I was pregnant! I had to wait till I had my "period" the next month, and get my appointment then just to prove it! I only realized I was pregnant when I felt something move! The first tiny movements I put off as being gas. When she started kicking, I started to worry. I was scared to death that I had worms, but then I remembered that my grandmother had periods with her first 2 babies.I was scared to think of that, absolutely terrified to hope because I would be heartbroken if I was wrong, I hadn't let myself believe I could have children since I was a teenager. I took a test, and the lines came out MAGENTA! No doubt about it, I was pregnant. I made it to 41 weeks 6 days and 23 hours before I delivered. I had about 6-10 ultrasounds because of her size, and because I was so late in delivering. I am not an idiot, I didn't realize I was pregnant because my first obgyn told me I couldn't have children. I had morning sickness, but at the same time my coworkers had the flu, so I thought I had it too.

During my first trimester, I bleed each month around the same time that I was supposed to get my period. Unfortunately, they were never able to tell me exactly why. I did not have any problems with my daughter, and she is a normal, healthy three month old.
I do know someone though that bleed throughout their pregnancy, and they were diagnosed with a bicornate uterus. This is when your uterus has two seperate compartments. Her baby was born early, due to pre eclamptic complications, but the baby is doing just fine.

well when i first thought i was pregnant i was going to wait to see if i got my period first before i took a test...and then i GOT my PERIOD (NoT spotting...PERIOD!)...but i just knew i had 2 be pregnant!...so i took a pregnancy test anyway...WHILE on my period...and the test said positive...then i took like 10 more and they all said positive...so i'm like why tha heck am i on my period...and i heard something like it can happen in the beggining because the baby is trying to properly attach to the uteris...and i have also gotten some bleeding later on in my pregnancy...my doctor said it was because of the uteris stretching for baby's growth...i'm now 34 weeks pregnant...and they say my baby is healthy :)
