how do i artificially inseminate a rat?

i never asked if it would hurt the rat or if its safe OR that i would do it i asked a simple question that every one answered around the question now please just answer the question the question is for my own knoledge not for science your answers is why ive been looking for the same answers for week PLEASE answer how to get semine from a male rat please dont answer around the question just answer the simple question

You would need to make a little female rat dummy for the male to breed, a tiny AV (artificial vagina), a short very thin flexible tube, and a syringe.
Have the make breed the dummy, collect the semen in the AV, load the semen into the syringe, attach to tube, insert tube into female's uterus, and expel the semen.

Let's see,

1) you would need a very thin needle, a cooperative male rat, a cooperative female rat, tissue, a microscope, a petri dish and some good lighting.

2) you need to draw out seamen from the male rats testi. A small amount should work. I would say give him some magazines and tell him to get it himself but seeing how they can't do that... Place the seamen into the petri dish.

3) you need to collect an egg from the female. This is best done under anesthesia because it requires some surgery.

4) palce the egg into the petri dish with the seamen. Under the microscope suck some of the seamen back into the needle and inject it into the egg.

5) Place the egg back inside of the female. Hopefully if everything went correctly you should have babies shortly.

**Disclaimer** I am opposed to animal experimentation and so please for the love of your pet do not do this. If you want babies let nature do all of the work. Also anyone that gives a thumbs down obviously didn't read my disclaimer.

First, learn how to spell semen. This will help. Then go to your local exotic animal veterinarian and offer to do some free work in exchange for being taught this skill. If this doesn't work, call around the big universities. Somebody might be doing this kind of thing for scientific research.
Clyti's technique sounds gratifyingly technical, but I think you may want to use male rats rather than seamen. Rats don't hybridize well with men....
