Your 5 buenos aires tetras will outgrow your tank, as they grow to be 3" each. Also, in smaller groups (less than 6), you'll notice that they can be fairly aggressive fin-nippers. My advice to you would be to return these tetras and get some that are more suitable for a 10 gallon community tank. This would also give you some room for a centrepiece fish.

I suggest something like:
6 smaller tetras like neons, black neons, glowlights, or zebra danios, harlequin rasboras.
And one centrepiece fish like a dwarf gourami or a male betta.
You can add a mystery snail and some ghost shrimp, and you'll have a lovely tank.

Since you get set up your tank, whatever you do, don't add any fish yet. Give it a few weeks, first. If you stock too quickly, you may have an ammonia and/or nitrite spike which will not be good for your fish.

A single male dwarf gourami. Or you might be able to keep a male betta there. I haven't kept those tetras so if you went with a betta, watch closely for any sign of aggression against the betta. Tetras can kill bettas (like serpe tetras, or lemon tetras).

respect the fish, it may look like they have enough room to you, but imagine being trapped in a living room with a bunch of other people, you can't really get to active can you?

the tetras will outgrow the tank like mentioned, i'd suggest a bigger tank
