Bar job or working in a music shop like HMV. Working in a music shop is bound to mean you will meet more people your age as the majority of people who work there are around your age.

Personal trainer at the Gym or any bar work. Personally i would go for the Gym. Better class of people and less hassle!

The military offers many arays of choices and option. Join the navy, you almost wouldn't see the battlefront or the combat area unless you are a navy seal or a navy corpsman.

what qualifications have you got? if you havent got any Uni will get you a degree and you can make bunch of new friends
