this will work!!!! start using Gold Dial Soap on your face exclusively!!!! GOLD DIAL SOAP!!!!!! after you get out of the shower each night, having just washed your face, put small dabs of NEOSPRIN CREAM WITH PAIN RELIEVER. the CREAM being the key word, not the gel oily type. this will create a bacteria free zone on your face. do this as your daily ritual and you face will clear up in no time!! i promise!! also make sure you are washing you pillow cases pretty regularly. make sure to just be using the gold dial soap and the neosporin.. no other chemicals are needed and may hender your healing. make sure not to over rub your face or exfoliate until you atleast have the problem under control. if you do this to much you will just be pushing the nasty oil and bacteria to other parts of your face.. good luck.. fi you stick to my regimine it will work, i have helped quite a few of my friends totally clear their faces up..

Have you tried a dermatologist? If you have, and what they're prescribing you isn't working or is irritating to your face, I'd try Proactive. My cousins daughter has a terrible acne problem, and I ordered the product for her. Her skin is so clear now. Not to mention her self-esteem has sky rocketed!! It is very affordable, I got hers for under $30 dollars, and they send it to her every month. That is also under $30 bucks!

As for your self esteem, please, please realize that you are SOOO much more than your skin, hair, make up, clothes, car, etc. You are special and unique. There isn't another you, anywhere on the planet. Be happy about that, okay?

I've never had a problem with acne as an adolescent or young adult. At almost 40, I do get the occasional breakout. However, I can't say I know what you are going through. I can only tell you that it will get better and you'll eventually find your self-esteem soaring!!

Good luck, okay?

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

Hi, i feel for you because i suffered with acne all through my teens and early 20's- i know what you're going through. My family doctor put me on antibiotics for a while, but it didn't do much, and i started developing cystic acne (where you don't always get the white heads, but the cysts are deep under the skin). I went to see a dermatologist, and that made all the difference. He put me on Accutane, and that helped me. It basically reduces the size of the oil glands on your skin, so it attacks the problem at the source. This is serious medication though, with severe side effects for some people. I used to have blood tests every month to check that it wasn't affecting my liver, or kidneys. There's also a HUGE warning against it if you're pregnant or think you might get pregnant- it causes defects on the fetus. On me, it caused dry skin on my lips and a rash on my hands that lasted the whole treatment. I was on it for six months. But it worked- I hardly ever had break-outs after that. Again- it may or may not be for you, but it's worth looking into.
Other than that, nutrition is important, and whatever you do, be nice to your skin because although you may be tempted to ATTACK the acne now, anything to aggressive may leave scars, etc. in the future. Have patience, be strong, and don't think that because your face is not perfect, it reflects who you really are. Good luck! :)

Well, my husband has the same problem. When he was a teenager he used Accutane. He took the pill daily but he had to have blood work done every month as there are some serious side effects. (Also some studies show it causes severe depression). And it's expensive - very expensive. He has since tried numerous prescriptions, pills, creams, ect...all expensive. Turns out this has worked the best for him - Wash face twice daily with Neutrogena Acne Wash (it has sysillic acid which is good). At night use Clean and Clear cream ( I can't remember what the name of it is but it comes in a small tube with blue and white packaging), it has benzole peroxide in it.

The Body Shop carries a line called Tea Tree. This is the best thing I have found (better than Proactive). There is a face wash that you can use everyday. A face scrub to be used 3 times a week. A face mask to be used once a week. Also- face wipes that you can use whenever you need a refresher. I would reccomend the seaweed facial moisturizer, because the tea tree can dry your skin a bit, the seaweed facial moisturizer is oil-free so it won't clog your pores. They have the best skincare I've used, and I used to have acne too!

See a Dermatologist. That's your best bet. You can spend thousands on over the counter products that amount to nothing more than snake oil. Save you money--instead, blwo it oin someone who went to medical school.

Something that always helped me when I was younger and had bouts with pimples was letting my face get a little sun. Not a burn mind you...just a little UV rays. That had an amazing effect on my zits. A doctor might read that and cringe but it helped me.

Just try 15 minutes or so...just enough the get the Vitamin D activated. I;'ve also been taking Omega 3 Fish oil capsules for several other medical reasons, but I've noticed a marked improvementin my skin and my hair. Omega 3's are good for your doo doo's too

You should try Mary Kay's Skin care line. It has been number 1 for 13 consecutive years now. If you are in your early 20's or younger, you would love the Velocity...it really helps with the acne and if you are older, you would love the timewise skincare line, it is great for acne and wrinkles!!!

You might try toothpaste or hemmoroid cream! It works for some people! Just put it on the spots that bother you the most and it will bring the stuff to the top! Make sure you have a face wash and wash your face 3 times a day! If you wear a lot of make-up try cutting down on how much you put on and let your face air out every now and then! You might even try pro-activ

Try this for acne:

Accutane-an antibiotic and Ziana- a new acne gel. See your dermotologist. Also wash face with cool or cold water, never hot. And never use scrubs or toners, they aggravate acne. Use a mild cleanser and mositurizer like Cetaphil or use Panoxyl bar 10% Benzoil Peroxide bar soap if you want something stronger.
If you want to try an acne system, try Patricia Wexler MD acne line at Bath & Body. Its costs $50.00 for the starter kit, but you can return it if you dont like it. I love her products.

Best Wishes

Have tried different kinds of face wash? if so maybe going in to a dermatologist is what you need to do they will take the top layer of skin off, the part that is infected and that will let you skin repair its self.

I hope that this will help you and you know what people are going to like you for you and not because of the skin you have and if they only like you for your close, or your money then they aren't real or good friends are they?
