I'm not a fan of it. For Scrabble-type games, I like either Scrabble itself or Snatch.
(Note: description on link says 2 players, but it'll play a half-dozen easily)

Yes! It's like Scrabble on steroids! My wife and I don't even play Scrabble anymore because Upwaords is "da bomb!"

LOVE IT!! My grandparents and I used to play for hours!! It adds a new dimension to plain old Scrabble.
