You can offer it on Freecycle. http://www.freecycle.org Freecycle is an online community that works in a local way to allow people to give things away to other people who can use the items. The point is to keep things out of the landfill. Be specific as to the make and model and be honest in your posting as to the condition of the lawnmower, as someone may want it as a tinkering project or for parts for their lawnmower. Recently someone asked for a non-working lawnmower to use as a trade-in.
