If you had "semi" left your wife for your mistress, were still married to your wife, had a small child, and one of your parents passed away - is it acceptable to bring your mistress to the funeral?

Not in my book. Terribly bad taste and I would think if the "mistress" had any decency and self worth she'd recoil in horror at the mere mention of this.

However people are usually none too bright and have a tendency to be selfish and consider their own wants and needs and the family or friends be damned. Frankly...any man who does this is showing off his mistress as just what he wishes her to be...a piece of arm candy and nothing more. You can bet if the rest of the family of the decedent has morals and this mistress becomes legitimate you can bet she'll be treated like a leper by his family forever.

No. Semi left you're wife? Pulleeze. S*i# or get off the pot. Obviously this guy is not good with committment and wants to have his cake and eat it too. What a slimeball.

If the mistress had a relationship with his parents, then maybe I would understand but I think it's highly inappropriate and disrespectful to the current wife and child. Sad... very, very sad.

It is not acceptable to bring your mistress any where, that your wife and child will be. And there is no such thing as semi left either.
