Its a 1997. The body has 160k miles on it and the replaced engine has 44k.
It has an idling problem. It cuts out at stops and red lights. Is this a minor problem or major?
Asking price is $3,500

If you KNOW that the engine has 44K then I would tell them 3K due to idling then I bet if you just bought some throttle body cleaner and spray it in the intake while idling ( taking care to give it a little throttle since it will want to die) it will clear it right up. Just had that problem with my car and that cleaned it right up, my car would die from just pushing in the clutch.

That's almost a new engine, Lot of idling problems are easy to fix. throttle body cleaner or clean the O2 sensor. try these two things before you buy it. sounds like a reasonable price, of course I don't know what is all equipped on it.

I am not sure; I would rather look at a Civic.

I bought my 1996 Honda Civic EX a few months ago for $4,000.
I has 94K miles, keyless entry, and a moonroof.

It sounds like this Accord may have some problems, so make sure a mechanic inspects before buying!
