A lot of the left-wingers or centrists are simply responding to the tone that right wingers use, and so the discussions are negative right from the get go.

Of course noone should allow themselves to be goaded into an argument - half the time about a subject that is only being brought up to take the focus off the real problems facing this country today.

At the same time, a lot of people are seriously pi$$ed off listening to the ranting of people defending one of the most corrupt administrations in American history. It would be better to take the high ground, and not allow idiots to distract them from pursuing legal action against the illegal and immoral activities of the current administration.

It can be difficult though, the right-wing noise machine has become too adept at turning any attempt at rational and reasoned discussion into a sign of weakness, and exploiting it to the fullest.

Politics elicits a lot of emotion. These ideas help shape the country. It's not for everyone. You call it hate. I call it passionate debate. Sometimes it gets a little out of hand.

You are doing just what you say you do not like. By saying conservatives do it more then liberals is B.S. Between bashing President Bush & Clinton I would have to say it's dead even.
