The guy did awesome in high school and in college (even led Duke to a national championship).

I don't understand why he was picked in the second round; can someone explain?

he really was not the focal point in college... coach K runs a guard oriented offense so basically he was a rebounder and shot blocker never really got to shine offensively and that probably is why most teams passed on him... i hate duke but i always wanted boozer for the knicks (team I like)

For one he's undersized for his position, and he was also the third best player on his team in college nobody thought he'd be a great NBA player
