need a intel ore 2 duo laptop t5500 for £500 uk please help

i have just the right answer i just bought a acer.i beleve that you live the uk so look at this one it is 519.97 just a bit over budget surely you wont mind here's the link and the acer is so fast it's wicked i suggest you buy it Now!! only problem is its t5200 but it is still fast i suggest you buy as it is limited stock!!

HP hands down. Dell's do indeed suck. They have inferior AC adapters, fragile motherboard construction, Incompotent support technicians, Cheesy breakable cosmetics. HP on the other hand has made incredible improvements and much better quality. Most of the patients involving Laptop development were created by HP as well as the combined technology of the former Compaq & Digital compared to Dells (You will get it when we decide to ship it format), plus there exploding AC adatpters. HP's you can return them to the store where you purchased them. Acer isn't cheap except in design and lack of any kind of support.

I got a Dell Inspiron 6400 from dell with 2gb of RAM and a 5600 core 2 processor for 680 pounds, alhtough if you downgrade the processor and RAM it could be 500. You need to search the internt for Dell 'e-value codes' though, to get good deals on cheap laptops.

I paid 700 USD for my core 2 duo, 120 g hd, 1g ram
and Acer and so far its pretty good.

Toshibas are excellent computers. it will work excellent if you just give it air(some people are to r tarded to do) get a fan mat and that thing will be fly. there are otherwise overheat issues because thay are very powerful laptops! :)

i just got hp pavilion dv6000 lap top from best buy for $700. with rebate. friends that have seen it tell my i got a great deal for the money. good luck

Anything but a dell and you will be fine. I have had bad experience with dells, as have anyone I talked to.
