I know this sounds weird, but my horse is on a all grass thing lately, and ew, his terds are very loose. What does that mean? Thanks!
(sorry if this is gross, I just need to know)

My horse is still up there and eating, and he seems to be fine.

totally normal if the grass is very green he has to get use to it and his terds will eventually harden up. that's what happens when you change a horses diet

Sounds like he had an abrupt change to a strong grass diet. As long as he isn't showing signs of colic, his stool should tighten up shortly. If it is still loose in a week or so, but he still isn't colicky, cut down on the time he is exposed to the grass and replace that with some good quality grass hay.

Not to worry - an all green grass diet can do that to their stools. The main thing to worry about is that you don't move them to all grass too quickly. And some horses (particularly ponies) have a tendency to founder when they are on all grass that is too rich.

Sounds like diarrhea. Talk to your vet if it persists more than 24 hours, because he could get very dehydrated. In the meantime, keep him separated from any other horses or livestock you might have, and don't give him any treats; just his regular diet will do.
