Leo is a good actor, but he doesn't deserve the award. Lauren Bacall bristled a couple of years ago when Nicole Kidman was called a legend and she had a point. There are a lot of good actors doing great work (Kate Winslet, Annette Bening, Kidman, Leo, etc), but it takes years and years of great work (Nicholson, Streep, Dench) to be put in legendary status and justify a lifetime achievement award.

I don't think actors deserve a lifetime achievement award unless they have actually achieved something other than make a lot of money. I think if they have touched someones life or helped someone maybe then they can say they have achieved something.

He is a good actor but I do not think that he deserves a lifetime achievement award just yet. maybe in another 30 years lol.
although I find that he plays a mentally challenged person and a drug addict a little to well....

Well, I had a notion that cute actors can't act, but after watching "The Departed" I had to change my opinion. Dicaprio may not be the best but he sure is working hard. And for the "Lifetime Acievement Award", don't you think he is a little young?

He's a really good actor, no doubt about it but I don't think he deserves a lifetime achievement award at his age. He dosen't have a large enough body of work yet. Don't worry though, he'll get one someday.

I don't think he has put in enough for a lifetime achievement, but he is a good actor and should be recognized more than he is.

I think he is one of the best actors ever seen. Just think about the roles he played.. They are compleately different from one to another, and he perform them really well.. Man in the iron mask, titanic, whats eating gilbert ____, Aviator, catch me if you can.. Everything is pretty amazing.

yes he is an amazing actor.........ive liked him best in titanic........ofcourse he deserves an achiecment awards.......watever roles hes done.......u cant imagine ne1 else in his place......hes got a style of his own
