I would pay the extra money because dvds are not going to loose little bits of magnetic particles and loose quality or break.
A DVD is thought to last indefinitely as long as it is not damaged or destroyed.

I love DVDs more than videos. That way you can go straight to the movie or straight to the scene you want.

Videos are far better to me.
So that is what i would of chosen.
At least there is no chance of freezing, pausing, getting stuck
and all the other rubbish which seems to happen to dvd's after a while.

The Dvd any day, it wont get stuck in the machine, you dont have to rewind it, you can copy it ( if you want) and its not bulky, gooo on get the dvd, you know you want to ;)
