I used to hitch hike all the time when i was a teenager. I lived about half and hour to 45 minutes driving from town and didn't always have a car that ran. Had some pretty scary experiences though and would definately not recommend it to anyone

I have it's so much fun I wouldn't do it in the states though but up here in Canada people that pick up hitch hikers are usually stoners so Its always a blast.

I used to yrs ago (one day on the freeway, a trucker picked me up, & says "I'm going to Vegas, where are you going?" I was guilty going to the next exit!! I could have but wasn't ready for a vacation!!)-This happened in Salt Lake City.

All the time back in the 60's and 70's, went coast to coast a couple of times, I would not advise it now...........too many weirdos...

for years always had the secret desire for a young beautiful nymphomaniac to pick me up and abuse me for a long weekend ....sadly that never happened...did get picked up by a disgusting old homosexual one drunken early morning...he wasn't pulling over to let me out of the car....well that is until I yakked red wine on his expensive slacks....then he couldn't stop fast enough....he he he!!!!

I didn't HAVE to, but I have hitchhiked. It was a long time ago, and it was a real stupid thing to do. I only did it because I was with my boyfriend...still no excuse.
