Akiane sounds very impressive. Her art is beautiful but one never sees her painting a whole picture. Call me cynic but there are lots of adults who exploit their talented children to make a fast buck...
There is no prove here for the truth, only blind belief.
She seems a lovely kid though....

Wow, proclaiming one's self a 'prodigy' on their own website. Ego much?

Her artwork isn't bad, though I find it kind of bland, I'm sure that most other children who show "artistic talent" could have tutoring to do these types of things. How many of her pieces are just drawing people from photos?

The whole "gift from god thing" makes me feel inclined to wonder if perhaps some church isn't behind the funding of her art education. I think it's all just a ploy to shove god down people's throats by presenting some apparent "Miracle".

I had the unfortunate privilege of working with a supposed "prodigy" once, she was two years younger than I was, the only difference between us was the volume in which we pat ourselves on the back--she'd run around bouncing and making noise about herself and how great she was like some sort of yappy dog, I'd quietly post things in my gallery.
