My husband, has 2 children from a previous marriage, when him and his x wife divorced in 2003, they were given Shared custody, with her as residential parent because my husband was over the road so often for work reasons. He was also given liberal visitations but no visitation guideline was put in the papers. At the time he was only able to get the children on every other weekend and holiday weekends etc. But since we have gotten married, we have watched the children any time his x wife needed someone to watch the kids, the kids go to school in our district, because she doesnt like the schools in her district. My husband asked for two weeks a month back in January, and she was okay with it at that time and ever since we've done every other week visitations with the children, and all has been fine, but now because she is upset with my husband for bringing me to a parent teacher (which I just listened to the meeting I didn’t say anything to step on anyones toes, I just listened because my husbands memory is not very good so he wanted me to be there) conference she is now stopping the every other week visitation saying its to much on the children.

While they are in a stable environment at our house, her house is not stable, she has her sister and her 3 kids living with her, the kids never know who is going to pick them up after school, they sleep 2 to 3 nights a week at their grandmothers.. Can she just revoke his right as a father like that since he does have liberal visitations and we gave her march and april calendars with his weeks outlined with the kids.. can she just stop it just to be spiteful.. nothing else was wrong during the visitations, and definately nothing substantial to hault , if anything the childrens grades came up during their time with us. Also my husband is home every night now, he is no longer over the road.. But can she just do this ????? To be spiteful????

There has never been anything written in writing for visitation scheduling it only says he has liberal visitations thats it, no every other weekend , no holidays ect. they've always just done every other weekend which he gets them from right after school friday, and sends them to school on monday with her picking them up after school, till Jan, when she agreed to the every other week and now out of spite is taking it back.. after the kids have been doing this every other week for well over a month..

NO!
If visitation is ordered by the court, she cannot modify it wiithout going to court to do so...
she is in contempt of a court order
you and your husband can petition the court to modify visitation.
good luck

Exactly, liberal visitations are too open. You need to go to court, in Florida you don´t need an attorney just go there and request for it, and outline visitation rquests, you could even ask for him to be the residential parent and she can visit every other weekend, but ask the kids, it´s important they don´t feel rejected or used.

Try for him to talk to the mother and get into a schedule, but to be on the safe side, go to court and get this fixed.
The best gift you can give to him is try to keep his kids safe and peaceful.

I would suggest he see a layer about obtaining shared parenting. If that cant happen he could at least get a set visitation schedule

You need to go back to mediation and revise and hash out a schedule. This is not good for the kids.
