She seemed strangely upset by this. Am I right to demand an apology?

Absolutely. She is clearly ignorant.

Simply explain that in some cultures projectile regurgitating of confetti is the social norm.

Her lack of understanding shows little commitment to a multicultural society. Should she not profusely apologise I suggest you contact the relevant racial equality authority who may investigate and prosecute her.

Most women think that by putting on a white dress they are instantly beautiful. In this case this was clearly not achieved. I would sue for at least £1,000,000 due to the obvious risk to your eyesight. It is a well known fact that when placed under intence stress the eye will shut down and in some cases this can be permanent.

Well, since you wouldn't have vomited had you not been at *her* wedding in the first place, yep, demand that apology. ;-)

She should get over it, she threw the party. And drycleaners do excellent work. I puked on my mother in law and she was highly upset. But I didn't care, I was drinking champagne.

Well, at least you won't need to find a date to the anniversary party or worry about a gift.

Call it a wash.
