I coach high school, but this should be easy for 6th graders. Against a 3-2 zone, start out with 2 guards, 2 posts on the block and have 1 baseline runner following the ball. Try to get the ball to the baseline runner. If she is open, shoot it. If someone comes out to play her, dump it to the post or reverse the ball.

If the other team sticks to their zone (hard for 6th graders). Just post one of the forwards at the top of the key, and one of the baseline defenders *should* take the bait and move away from the basket. Now you'll have an open area along the baseline. One of the off-gaurds can run the baseline and get wide open. When that pass comes to the guard along the baseline, the forward at the top-of-the-key can run straight to the basket and receive a bounce pass for an easy layup OR if she is covered in the paint, then the guard should have her own open layup from the baseline.

I hope this is clear.

the main goal of the 3-2 is to take away the wing shots by
your guards..
1. you can go 4 corners-4 out 1 in.. have your post player
follow the ball and move the ball OVER THE TOP of the 3-2
2. a good play i always liked was to have baseline runner
( 2 ) in corner, 3 ball reversal, 4 ball block
5 opp block.. push to ball side corner and reverse ball.
2 runs, 3 ball reversal. 4 x cuts while doing this he/she screen
the middle person of 3/2 zone trying to get to block. this
5 will already be at the block. should open up the weakside..

3 perimeter players on the outside of the zone
1 high post player (either elbow)
1 baseline post player.

work the outside of the zone.
Low-high option: entry to the baseline post... look to score or pass to high post flashing to the goal.

high-low ption: entry to high post... face up and look for jumper, dribble drive, or pass to baseline post flashing to the goal.

the key is to get the post involved so you dont just settlefor jumpers.

good luck
