There are very few pirate copies that look great... I mean really great. But most of those dvds are really crappy. Most of the time I buy the original.

Always buy the legal copies ! Pirate copies just arnt the same and also you get really good extras as well.

I always buy the proper copies when they come out. I tried watching a pirate dvd of a film I'd seen at the cinema once and it absolutely ruined it because it was such poor quality, I've learnt my lesson and will never do it again.

i wait til it comes out on DVD in the stores. I mean....why waste the money on a pirate copy....when you can have a nice copy of it in like 3 months?

As far as movies go, originals beat pirates hands down. After one or two lousy pirated films, I won't watch ANY now.
