Scientists who questioned mankind's impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.

They say the debate on global warming has been "hijacked" by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.

Timothy Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg in Canada, has received five deaths threats by email since raising concerns about the degree to which man was affecting climate change.

Well, it's finally happened.

Even scientists have abandoned the concepts of logic and debate and willingness to tolerate other theories and are attacking people solely for disagreeing with them.....

When religion did it, it was bad enough. When politics joined in , we started to feel it. But if even science -- which enshrines rational objective thinking -- cannot tolerate people coming to different conclusions, we're lost.

I've read arguments from Scientists claiming both sides of the argument. Death threats for supporting man's contribution, and the same have apparently been issued for those who have denied it. Sounds like a whole lot of crap to me.

I would suggest that we stop looking at the politics of the issue, and regard only the scientific data. Even if conflicting...it is more poignant than the accounts of political intervention.

We don't need scientific evidence to see how destructive man is to this planet. Our pollution ruins rivers and lakes and
our pollution forever taints the ground into which it seeps or is poured into. The air we breath is full of pollutants. So much so some of us cannot live in those cities and cannot breathe.
Why on earth do we need science to tell us we are ruining this earth in every way. Common sense should prevail - pollution can change everything - including the climate.
