I got a letter telling me about a FORM I need to fill out and it says forward to "my attention." Does that mean put the person's name on the letter I am sending?

Thanks so much to everybody. All of you gave great, clear, non-smart remark answers. It's the first time I feel good about posting a question on here. Lol. Thanks again.

You put the address on the envelope, and somewhere on the front of envelope, usually 2nd address line, put "ATTN: (person's name). This tells the person delivering the mail who in the company the letter goes to.

It's an envelope thing - but you can put it in the address line of your letter as well.

Do you know who sent you the form? If so, you would just forward the letter and write : Attn: name of person. I wouldn't imagine that you would actually return a letter with MY ATTENTION on it. That doesn't sound professional....I could be wrong though.

That's a weird one...I would probably put Attention to the person it's going to and then put from your name. Ex. Att. Joe from Suzy Q.

Yes, it does. Yu can do it by addressing it to the person or, in the lower left hand corner write ATTN: person's name.
