My boys would like me to paint flames on the walls of their playroom. I'm looking for a website that shows simple flames to draw (mind you I CANT draw). I have looked at a lot of tatoo websites, but dont have the money to buy any of their pictures. Any suggestions?

Fire is REALLY hard. I had some luck doing searches on pictures from the Burning Man event, and searches with the words 'candle pic' for smaller flames. It's a blend of bright white with orange, yellows and reds, with hints of blue. But the actual flame shape varies so much.... You can also look up 'fire fighters' 'fireman training' 'torches' 'California wildfire pics' and similar subjects to get some photos

You just need to make light orange wavy lines going upwards from the floor and tapering off as they reach the top (think pyramids, but with more flow). Then fill them in with a darker orange, leaving edges of lighter orange. Then fill them in with a red.
This picture is pretty good reference for what I'm talking about:

Just rotate it 90 degrees counter-clockwise.

Your children sound tormented.
On a more serious note, I'm assuming they're small children, so I guess they won't mind if it doesn't turn out great. Just go for it!
