You can make one yourself easily. There is a product called Lazertran. Ask at stationers, craft shops or try the internet.

Lazertran Regular - Colour photocopy image onto Lazertran paper. Soak in water then transfer to any surface
A4 sheets pack 8 or A3 sheets pack 4

Lazertran Silk - transfer paper for silk, satin, metal foil and polymer clay (Fimo etc.) A4 sheets pack 8

Lazertran Inkjet - no need for spray coating as the inks become waterproof in 30 minutes. (Thats what it says but I would be a bit cautious of this claim as some inks are not waterproof and if you are putting it in the garden some kind of coating or varnish seems advisable). A4 sheets pack 8

All packs about £12.99 incl VAT

I have never heard of that but it is a great idea. I couldn't find exactly what you were looking for, but I have seen something done similar for an outside picture frame. You could take the info on this link to the next level by coping the picture, putting it in a protective sleeve, then under a pice of glass, and mosiac around it.

I was given a picture of a friend ,and myself-taken when we were very young women. It's done on a ceramic plate, and she had it done in a mall, where they engrave keyrings, and expensive gift items.Tshirt shops might be able to tell you where ,you can have it done.

This may seem a silly reply,& im sorry if it may offend.
However try your nearest funeral palour, they can or put you in touch with the people that do, as they have people who engrave head stones, hope this helps.
