You could be a proof-editor. Or a manuscript reader for a large book company. They get tonnes of submissions and they need people to read through the books and rate them.

You can get paid to proof read unpublished books and articles, though I think you need some sort of training before you can apply for such a job.
I've seen adverts for proof readers in the Guardian on Mondays in the Media section, so you could try that. They might also have a course listed as well you could check out.

in my opinion, you can get paid for doing so by become a teacher or doing a part time jobs such as tutoring. good luck!
