Since my husband was deployed 10 days ago we have occured extra bills due to buying a car, paying other bills off so he wouldn't need to worry about them but now we are in the hole and need financial help. I work as well but only part time be cause thats what I can afford childcare wise. We are young and just starting to build our credit and I don't want to harm our credit by starting off being late with everything waiting to catch up.... Because then I will be behind for like another month...HHHHEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!!

Relatives are a good start. Then try friends. Get it on paper.

Try the credit union or a small non-bank lender. The credit union would be you best route due to low interest. You have to make sure you will be able to make the payments on the loan. Lastly, if there is a family member who would make such a loan, it would be best. Have a written agreement and if by chance you behind for some emergency, it will not affect your credit rating.

For a loan that small, you probably ought to ask friends or family. But if you have credit, go to a bank. They'll have you use something like your car for collateral.
