Try using regular blankets get them as tight as they are now to go to sleep then as the night goes they will loosen themselves and start to get used to sleeping like that. Worked for my daughter. Good luck

Okay, I confess, I swaddle my 10 month old in the miracle blanket!! I actually asked the pediatrician if this was okay because I was concerned about developmental delays, but she said it was fine. She has parents of two year old twins who still enjoy being wrapped at night! My 10 month old actually gets out of the swaddle now, but he is so used to it as part of his nightly routine. I say, if the twins are sleeping well, why stop?!

I swaddled my daughter until she would get herself out of it at night on her own. I just used a regular newborn blanket to swaddle her (the the ones that keep them in there). When she was old enough, she could wiggle her way out of it in her sleep. Swaddling I think was the key with her. She's always been a terrific sleeper; as opposed to her older brother who was difficult.

I swaddled my twins until they started kicking & squirming out of the blanket at about 2 1/2 months old. I'm not sure if your babies will have trouble sleeping when you stop, but if they sleep well, I say keep doing it until they kick covers off themselves, which I'm sure they eventually will.

I swaddled my son until 4 mths, also with the velcro kind. All of a sudden he just seemed annoyed to be swaddled, so I put him to sleep without and he was just fine.

I swaddled my babies until they squirmed out of the blanket. They had no problem adjusting to not being swaddled. Keep doing what you are doing until they let you know otherwise.

We swaddled our son until he was about 4mo old. We didn't have the fancy blankets so when he got older we just swaddled him with his arms out then eventually just stopped. I don't think it affected his sleeping habits.....

i jsut stopped adn now our 5 month old stays up till like midnight (we try laying him down and "cry it out"but it never stops). now he wont stand to be swaddled. you can try to find ways to comfort them. i could only get my baby to sleep last night by letting him sleep with me!!

My children always kicked their way out of the blankets so I stopped within the first few weeks. Maybe you can try tucking them into the crib.
