Believe me, he isn't kidding! After ejaculation, a man's penis is extremely sensitive. During this phase, the tubes which were open and allowed the ejaculation of semen, close once more, and the production of fresh semen begins. Some men can be ready for sex again in just a few minutes, while others take longer. If your man squirms away from you when you try and touch him, don't take it the wrong way - he's simply recovering from having had intercourse and is preparing for the next encounter.

Men goes into what is called the refractory period after orgasm. I don't know why, but that's just how they are built. Tey are really sensitive down there and can't get another erection during this period. I get told to not touch it either. He even refuses oral sex once he settles into the refractory period. Go figure. It probably varies from guy to guy, but my bf takes like 30-45 minutes to recover before he can go again.
