Hey those aren't annoying.

It's pretty simple - if the banner is in Flash, simply create the banner as a canvas the size of the fully-expanded version, and mark off the section that will only be visible during normal banner mode, and animate the entire canvas for "expanded" mode. In the web page, set the Flash movie not to scale or stretch, so that it will extend beyond the object frame. Then just use JavaScript to expand the object frame as needed.

Or, if it's HTML, just use JavaScript to expand the block element that contains the banner.

you need to make a flash file of it or if you want you can also use an animated gif
