I don't think it's necessarily proven to be BAD, but it IS a chemical getting sprayed onto your body, & the people that say don't inhale...YOU HAVE TO BREATHE while you're in there, so you'll be inhaling the fumes. I'd say no, it's not worth the risk. It's not about your beauty anymore. It's about the baby

Im not sure about spray tan but I read many case studies on pregnant women who go to the regular tanning beds and there babies are fine. The study stated that the UV lights werent strong enough to penetrate through the 7 layers of your skin. It's like how you get tan lines when tanning with a bathing suit. The lights werent strong enough to penetrate through a think cloth so they def. can't get through your skin and past your organs to effect your baby

I love how vain some people are. Why risk it? The jury is still out on whether or not these products are harmful. There have been no long term studies done (how could there? these types of products have been on the market for less than 5 years). Why do you think you need to be tan anyway? Why not focus that time and energy on the baby?

I've read into it, and everyone thing has said it's safe, they have found no evidence that useing sunless tanners is bad, since it only goes a few layers into your skin. Just in case, I'd ask your doctor. You can never be too safe when it comes to your baby!

As long as you don't inhale the fumes. That's hard to do unless you run out of the booth naked to get fresh air.
