Makeup is not a good idea for children. There is no need for it at all, unless you are playing dress-up with them or something, but then a sheer gloss and a little blush will do the trick for play time. As far as going out in public, children do not need makeup! We have far too many "tweenies" anyway that are trying to look like they are 20 and it's ridiculous. Encourage natural beauty and positve behavior which is more beautiful than makeup anyday.

No, it makes them look like a child prostitute.
If you're askin what ageyou should wear it heres what i think.
10-11 Very sheer light lipgloss.
11-12 Same lipgloss, some clear or light mascara
12-13 Same Lipgloss, Same mascara, a really loose light brownish eyeshadow.
13-17 You're creating your own identity, depends on what style you are.
Original prep (Lacosse, etc...)- Very, very natural. not much more makeup than before. Except add some blush.
Modern Prep (A&F, Hollister, AE...) Same makeup + eyeliner, kinda smudged. And a pink lipgloss.
Emo and Goth- Dark makeup, thick eyeliner
I'm a modern prep so I don't really know much about other styles of makeup... like punk and stuff.

For play and Halloween, yes. For everyday, no.
Think Jon Benet Ramsey.
They'll have plenty of time to wear makeup when they're older and have wrinkles to hide.

does it have sunscreen? is it hypo-allergenic? if it has both of these things then your only real question should be how do I feel about my children wearing make-up and that is a personal question.

It depend on different things.Like if your allergic to makeup or have sensitive skin. In my opinion it's not the best but if you put on makeup don't put a lot in.

i let my kids play with it and they are 4 years and 24 Months. i think if they want to its not hurting any one and when it comes down to it, it is up to you if you are going to let then or not.
