The Minnesota Twins have been planning to publicize detailed designs of their new ballpark next week and break ground next month.

Here's the problem: Hennepin County, the club's financial partner, does not yet own the land on which the 40,000-seat stadium is supposed to be constructed to open in the spring of 2010. The state legislation that was passed last May did not spell out a guideline for agreement on a purchase price.

The owners, a limited liability partnership of more than 100 private investors, are arguing that the county is not cooperating.

Right now it is in the courts hands to say how much the property what they want to build on is worth. Since the owners would not negotiate with the Twins. If the court comes back and the Twins think the price is to high. It might have to go back to the legislature since they wrote on the bill that the stadium would be built on that location.

Not sure on ticket prices. Hopefully all goes well and they just get it done.
