well thats what i thought there is no Manage

Go into My Computer, find your drive, right click it, and select format. Note: this will delete any and all data from your drive if you proceed with format. I personally recommend NTFS as a format for it's overall performance, speed, and reliability. Formatting times vary between connection (USB, FireWire, IDE, etc.), size, and speed of your computer.

Under Microsoft Windows, you can use the `format` command to format a drive, just like in DOS.

Alternatively, you can format a drive through the GUI by following these steps:

Click the button.
Click .
Highlight the drive you wish to format.
Click the right mouse button to bring up a menu.
Select .

Go to start - my computer (right click) - select manage - go to disk management, right click, select format.
