What are good Friends? Last year I had a friend she was an 8th grader ( I was in Montessori- :: you have multiple grades like 6th 7th 8th ) and she was like my BFF..well the first time she came to my house it was a blast!! well i got back to school and all of a sudden she wants me to buy her extra at lunch and buy her tea and do all of this stuff for her (i dont mean to bragg:: i have a 2-story house so that gives you a clue!!) and then this year this 6th grader (when i'm in 7th grade) wants to go out with me..so we're going out and he does the same thing..i know this is called "using" and it is. But does a good friend "use" people?

no they don't. And you shouldn't allow it. You don't want people to be your friends because you have money, you want them to like you for who you are. This does not mean that you can never buy your friends anything, but be careful and let them know that you can't buy them things all the time. You want to save what you have for your future, trust me you will need it =) I hope this helps....

A good friend absolutely does -not- make use of people. If they have a problem financially or needs help in one way or another, they would ask for help nicely. They don't just tell you to buy stuff for them or make use of you just to get what they want...

I think you should be more careful in who you hang out with...
I've been through this too... I had a friend who would just stick by me everyday and sort of make use of me to buy her stuff and all, it really annoyed me and I was young, I didn't know how to stand up for myself so I just bought whatever she wanted... I got into a really big trouble with my parents and from then on, I knew I had to choose my friends wisely. No matter how nice they might seem to be.

You can still find other BFF... Trust me.

Good luck!!!

Peace!!

NO absoulutly not. A true friend doesnt care how much money you have or dont have and a true friend wouldnt be using you. We are all supposed to be created equal so there for we should all be treated equal, yeah right! In living life you learn so many things and one of them is what a true friend really is! A real true friend is someone that is there for you no matter what (except for when there parents wont let them talk on the phone or leave the house) someone who shares, and doesnt judge you. A true friend is hard to find. It took me years to figure out who my true friends were! Same goes for boyfriends!

No using isnt a good friend. You need to find better ppl to hang out with. Try to not take them back to your house go to theirs instead make an excuse such as my parents dont allow ppl over and such. Ppl that use for financial purposes are not the kind of ppl you can depend on. Hope this helps.

No, but maybe you need to tell them that you cannot do these things for them anymore because it is unfair to you. Friends do things for each other because they want to, not because someone is making them. If you talk to your friends about this and they continue to "use" you then they probably are not good friends.
