Neither man wants to lie down to the other. Austin would no-show if he were forced to job to Hogan, Steve's done it before. If Austin were to win, Hogan would sit on a fake injury and demand more money and then when he got it, he'd miraculously heal and do a piss-poor job.
Austin claims that there's some heat between he and Hogan from back in WCW, but Hogan has no recollection of it. Either way, they're both ego-maniacal players of the business who don't amount to what they're getting paid. Wrestling has moved on, so should these men.

There are three reasons.
1.) The money has not be set straight with both guys to go at it.
2.) Ego. Honestly, do you think Hogan would cleanly job to Stone Cold or vica versa?
3.) Austin's Health. He is still not 100%, so they might not want him in the ring unless he is able to all the bumps and hits

Stone Cold got a real injury on his back and can no longer wresle. But Hulk Hogan can no longer wresle cause he's just old.

i dont it but i heard a rumour that something might happen between them at summerslam.

hulk's hip has been totally destroyed

Hulk Hogan doesnt wrestle anymore so they cant fight

hogan and austin are in too bad of shape. both of them have terrible knees and can't wrestle anymore. they were supposed to wrestle this year but it fell through.

I don't think Austin is in any condition to wrestle. His neck is really messed up.

it was more of a publicized publicity. but i think they havent fought yet because they probably havent gotten the right price to do that
