You fight and you make up but when you fight you sometimes feel like giving up but you know deeply that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with!!!!!! And you keep fighting but your not patient enough to wait on patients to come.

patients are the people a doctor sees...what you seem to lack is patience.
If you fight a lot, then perhaps the two of you are not a good match, no matter how deeply one or both of you feel that you want to spend the rest of your life with the other...that's something you can never really know anyway as feelings toward people often change...
Evaluate what you fight about...what is the underlying issue that you fight about? A lot of times couples fight about every little nitpicky thing, and avoid the real issue that's causing a problem (the fighting is just a symptom).
Perhaps couples counseling is in order?

There is an underlying reason you don't have patience. Without knowing details it's hard to say what that is. But once you find the cause you can overcome it. You said you know he wants to spend the rest if HIS life with you. You didn't say you were sure you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him. It could also be his insecurities that are making you frustrated and you are impatient because you are powerless to change what needs to be changed in his life.

If you are struggling with "patients" in your relationship maybe medicine isn't the field you should be in .
