Once you have made a hole for the gas fire and fitted it, just fill any gaps btween the flueAnd the wall with fire cement and ordinary cement on the outside.

This may be a flue less type
It will still be covered by CORGI and building regs.
Get a corgi man to fit it, too many folk die each year.

Think you mean "balanced flue" or may be its "open flue"
you should have the instructions with it if its new, if its secound hand you shouldnt fit it with out the manufacturers instructions.

go to your local libery and ask for corgi gas regs
book they will have it good luck
