Renee Syler left the show to undergo a bilateral prophylactic mastecomy and promote the book she has coming out in March.
Both her parents had breast cancer and she has had a couple of scares over the past 5 years. So she decided to be proactive and do something to prevent her from being diagnosed with breast cancer. She has made a wise and courageous decision.
