You would have the best back court in the history of the NBA. It will work because Nash is not looking to steal Kobe's thunder. He would rather pass than score and his penetration will create more shots for Kobe and the entire team. You would have an opposing coaches nightmare on your hands.

Well teaming a selfless player with an ego would work in this situation unlike the Carmelo/Iverson combo. I mean Nash is going to make even a great player like Kobe even better and I think Kobe would realize that. Plus Nash likes to pass and Kobe likes to shoot. Match made in Heaven.

They would create the most unstoppable duo in the NBA. Kobe would just have to learn to pass the ball to Nash so he could create, then Kobe would just simply dominate.
There would not be an ego clash since Nash has no ego. They would meld rather well.

Kobe would elbow Nash in the face and say sorry I thought you were a European player. (It wouldn't work Kobe needs the ball) He has never had a true point guard (Derek Fisher does not count). Kobe needs a big man a la Shaq, he needs a person that will let him have his ego as big as possible and not get in his way. Lamar Odom and Kobe looked pretty good, but Odom cant stay healthy.

It would be a good combo. Nash passes to Kobe and Kobe shoots it every time.

ok, purely provide us the source of that 5.5 assists by using kobe so as that greater human beings would have self assurance it. back to the question. i think of that could lead them to a solid duo. all steve nash has to do is provide him open seems, bypass the ball, and score. they'd make a super group. i think of the comparable will ensue is arenas and nash have been teammates. purely look at whilst dirk and nash have been fiddling with eachother. they appeared like malone and stockton.

Kobe will get a 10 game suspension for elbowing Nash during practice. "We're talking about practice!"

they would have a team that scores a lot but loses close games, you still havent addressed the interior defense and rebounding...therefore the fast break opportunities...a team made up like that would still have problems in the half court sets as nash would be exploited on defense...

Showtime will be back in LA. It's going to be an explosive combination but still not enough to win it all. But if Bynum will improve to be a near-all-star center that he's projected to be, I think they will have a chance.
