Walking and swimming.
Swimming is fantastic as it takes the weight off, you can do it summer or winter (if you have an indoor pool close by), works on your whole body.
Walking is even better because you can do that in whatever you are wearing, wherever you are for however long you like. You can do 5 x 6min walks or 2 x 15min walks or 1 x 30min walk depending on time and location available to you. The best thing about walking is that you can do it before and AFTER the baby is born.
Good luck!

My doctor gave me a booklet that had several floor exercises and standing exercises. The hospital also has a library / prenatal nurse line that you can call to get additional information.
I would check with your local hospitals as well. They will probably be more than happy to give you free booklets and information.

I was advised that exercise in a healthy pregnancy can continue as normal. In later stages you should not do exercises laid on your back as can affect blood supply to baby. Check with midwife/doctor that no problems apparent with baby before exercising. Listen to your body. if you feel tired best to take it easy. you can strain muscles if not 100%

pregnancy yoga would be good
also using the exercise/birthing balls really work out your legs without as much risk to your center of gravity and it also helps keep your hips loose and is supposed to make it easier to give birth

The doctor told me the best one is the pelvic floor exercise! just lat flat on your back, and push your lower body up and hold for a few seconds! and keep doing it till you dont want to anymore..lol!...it will help your legs and lower body!

Walking, walking and more walking ! and swimming a little - but dont swim too much. My friend became a fitness freak when she was pregnant and swam everyday, but her natural childbirth was difficult because she couldn't relax her muscles. I would stick mainly to walking...
