Is it just me, or do they tend to look better on rockers as opposed to the stereotypical rapper? Jonathan Davis... Marilyn Manson... etc. Dunno, it's probably because they don't overdo it and shove $60,000 into their teeth. *shakes head*

oh ho ho the haters of rap and hip hop...

i catually think jonathan davis' does look cool. but its so played out now that most rappers are putting them away for good (mike jones just said it on sirius)

heres the thig most people dont understand. excessive jewelery and items is a society thing, not just a black rapper thing. watch cribs and see how many of the white people have huge houses, several cars. rims on the cars, etc. Yeah a lot of black people have thats stuff, but so do white people. I know a white real estate guy here in Chicago. 40, doing well. Bought a bentley gt coupe. the drop top. know what kind of wheels he got? thats right chrome 19's. you know why? they look good and he can AFFORD IT. If you don't like it, cool. but don't knock people for how they spend thair money. If you had money you'd buy some crazy stuff too.

And rock dosen't come from hip hop. hip hop dosen't come from rap. rap comes from reggae and disco. look it up. rap is a musical form of people who on the norm can't afford instruments and lessons. thats where the turntables come from. look that up. and if you don't think dj's have musical talent, id like to seen you handle the dj stand for 2 songs. nothing personal to the chick upstairs, but if you don't know what youre talking about then do your research first...

i don't like it all, it looks horrible and i can't see why anyone would spend that much money on something so stupid, there is a guy i work with and he has some i make him take it out, i tell him its for the customers but really i just can't stand looking at the stupid things. as to Kira's answer its actually the other way around, rap spawned from rock, there was no such thing as rap until the 80's, sorry rap stole from rock and they could have at least made it to were the was some talent like play an instrument instead of making up rhymes, children do this on a daily basis.
