who is a hero or what is a hero?

everyday we here about a policeman catching a bad guy , a fireman runing into a burning building to save someone , garbage men who litter the streets with all the garbage they drop and dont pick it up, plow a little snow and become heroes,,it is your job if you did not want your jobs dont you think you should get a job a become real heros like our army , navy , air force., or marines get ral jobs you bums

People just doing their jobs are not 'true' heroes, such as our military (and I'm a veteran). True heroes are those who take risks to their own safety and well-being to help another when they don't have to.
