Every time I try to send a letter to one of the characters on animal crossing I always get a letter back saying that the character doesn't know what I'm talking about and say that I don't know how to write a letter. Please help me I want to write a letter that a character will write back to and know what I'm talking about.

Ok trust me i have animal crossing and i am a master at it i've upgraded my house to a palace and this happened to me too. The reason they don't understand you is first the animals say werid and mean things in the game sometimes and if the letter doesn't make sense then you either mispelled something or it just isn't long enough or maybe it doesn't make sense really like once i sent a letter and all it was was this . ! .Weird right . When the animal replied it said that it did't make sense . But really it is almost always because they did't like it because maybe it was a strange , mean , or weird letter . If you want them to understand you and be your great friend then you write something nice , happy or joyful but if you want them to really understand you then send them a gift like a seashell , furniture or a piece of clothing .To send something put the item in your pocket then write a letter and put the piece of mail in the mail section of your pocket then place the item on the piece of mail .

yeah thet happen 2 me alot but just write like when is your animal's birthday and other stuff but i just write every word like this nnmkijijjfdjjdhjdfhhf just 2 c what they say it's fun but yeah try not 2 make the letter so long.

It just means you used either bad grammar or spelling. They are very picky. I usually make my letters about 2-4 sentences long and use nice words like great, love, wonderful, fantastic. They like happy words or compliments alot. Oh yeah always start out like a proper letter too. example-
Hi Biff,
It's (insert your name). The weather has been so great lately. I really like your shirt. I'll talk to you later.
